You have no money to buy food

Black Country Foodbank helps vulnerable individuals and families in crisis through the provision of 3 days emergency food supplies while a longer-term solution is developed.

You must have a voucher or a code to be able to receive a food parcel at the distribution centres. You can get foodbank vouchers from:

The Private Sector Housing team are a good place to get help for people renting privately.  They can help get repairs done and give advice to tenants who have been served with notices to leave the tenancy. Covid-19

Covid-19 emergency assistant grant – is a one off £300 grant to support people who are struggling to afford food and other essentials due to financial hardship and/or hardship caused by COVID-19. This scheme is temporary.

See, Hear, Respond is a new service for children, young people and parents and carers who are experiencing crisis due to COVID 19.  If you are worried about a child or young person experiencing harm and increased adversity or are looking for advice and help there are 2 ways to access the service.  Submit a referral through their website www.barnardos.org.uk/see-hear-respond or contact them on 0800 157 7015.

The AoC Trust will be offering up to 6 FREE Counselling & Therapy sessions to people in the West Midlands who have directly been affected by Covid-19. This includes NHS staff, key workers, those that have lost loved ones due to the virus or who have felt trapped during the pandemic.
